Orange County Chamber Energy Forum
On November 8, approximately 45 people attended the Orange County Energy Forum cosponsored by New York Affordable Reliable Electricity Alliance (New York AREA) and the Orange County Chamber of Commerce.
Forum panelists covered a wide range of topics including
cleaning the environment, saving on electric bills,
and alternative fuel sources
New York AREA Chairman, Jerry Kremer hosted
the event and acted as moderator
Deidre Alotell talks about market driven solution
for Orange and Rockland Utilities. Ms. Alotell predicted
that state programs along with RGGI and an expanding
renewable portfolio will lead to a more balanced and
reliable state energy portfolio.
